How to Apply

One of the ways that you can ensure that you have every financial advantage that you are entitled to is to apply for financial aid annually. All applicants to the College are strongly encouraged to apply for financial aid. At Burnett International College (BIC) our Financial Aid staff is willing and able to assist you with this process in person or by phone. Our multi-lingual staff assists individuals in applying for assistance on our financial aid student workstations, which are available to new and returning students.

To apply for financial aid, students should complete the Free Application for Federal
Student Aid (FAFSA) by completing the online application that is available
at www.fafsa.ed.gov. This online application is used to apply for both federal and state
financial aid.

• When completing the application, please note that the BIC Title IV code is 042345.
• Students should retain a printed copy of their online FAFSA form and keep all
  documents that were used to complete your application in an accessible place.
• Applicants will be notified in writing by the BIC Financial Aid Office if additional
  information such as a federal tax return is needed once we receive your application results and have done preliminary processing of your information.

Please do not hesitate to contact a member of our staff for assistance and please apply
for financial aid in conjunction with our priority deadlines. Students who apply for
financial aid after priority deadline will be awarded on a funds available basis.
